Ceramic nozzle at 0.5 microns with micropores to effectively retain sediments, sludge, rust and pathogenic microorganisms if present in water. Inside the ceramic cartridge the block, activated carbon from coconut shell retains chlorine and (in case of presence) to a sufficient degree pesticides, phenols, heavy metals and compounds hat are harmful to health, whereas it allows all the necessary minerals and micronutrients that are beneficial for health. In between, there is a softening resin to effectively break down the limescale to a rate of 60% and prevent it from coating our utensils. Filtrhellas' Aquarius K5+ cartridge is tested by the International Hellenic University which certifies the quota of retention of all harmful substances.

The ceramic candle Aquarius K5+ can be used for 12 months or 8.200 litres depending on use, and is easily cleaned during the 12 months with the hard side of a clean, unused kitchen pad. What’s more, you can easily install and replace it in only one minute, by unscrewing the used candle and screwing the new one.

Aquarius K5+ ceramic candle can be used in water supply networks observed by local laws and regulations. These networks are considered safe, except in few cases of network damage and hypochlorination that may lead to contamination of water.

The filter cannot be used for the treatment of hot water and can only be used for cold water(less than 38°C), to avoid the damage of the welding materials.
