ABS, BPA free, lightweight yet durable double housing with built-in filtered water outlet tap and filtered or unfiltered water diverter valve, which can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. It can be fitted to almost any type of tap(shower type taps excluded).

Inside the housing, two 0.5 microns ceramic cartridges are placed to retain pathogenic microorganisms and bacteria if found in water, sediments, sludge, rust and other visually obvious materials. One cartridge contains solid, coconut-shell activated carbon inside the ceramic material for complete and effective retention of chlorine and to a sufficient degree if found in the water, pesticides, phenols, heavy metals and compounds that are harmful to health, while not depriving us of all the necessary minerals and trace elements of water that work beneficially for our body. The second cartridge contains resin inside the ceramic material, either for softening or nitrate retention, as needed. The second cartridge may also contain an activated carbon ceramic filter in case there is need to use a double layer of carbon.

The cartridges last for 12 months or 10.300 litres of water, whichever comes first. The amount of water that can be filtered by the Aquarius A9 dual countertop water filter is capable of meeting the needs of any large family or unit.

Aquarius A9 countertop water filter can be used in water supply networks observed by local laws and regulations. These networks are considered safe, except in few cases of network damage and hypochlorination that may lead to contamination of water.

The filter cannot be used for the treatment of hot water and can only be used for cold water(less than 38°C), to avoid the damage of the welding materials.
