ABS, BPA free, lightweight yet durable housing with built-in filtered water outlet tap and filtered or unfiltered water diverter valve, which is easily cleaned with a damp cloth. It can be fitted to almost any type of tap(shower type taps excluded).

But the most important thing is the filter that the housing contains internally. Ceramic cartridge at 0.5 microns which can retain pathogenic microorganisms and bacteria if found in the water, sediments, sludge, rust etc. while inside the ceramic the solid, activated carbon from coconut shell retains chlorine and to a satisfactory degree if present in the water, pesticides, phenols, heavy metals and compounds that are harmful to health, whereas it allows all the necessary minerals and trace elements that are beneficial for health. The lifetime of the filter is 12 months or 10,300 litres of water, whichever comes first.

Aquarius A8 water filter by Filtrhellas is tested by the International Hellenic University which certifies the quota of retention of all harmful substances and can be used in water supply networks observed by local laws and regulations. These networks are considered safe, except in few cases of network damage and hypochlorination that may lead to contamination of water.
